There have been a lot of things happening since the last update of the website.

Preparation has been going well with the V4, it is all ready for the track and its first track day at Taupo on Friday the 26th August.

I can't wait, all the work and expense and it is only a month away - YE HA.

Check out the photos below and the bike in person in pit garge #22 on the 26th August at the first MotoTT track day for the season .

Brendan will also be attending the MotoTT track day on his Suzuki, as his Aprilia is beyond repair. This will be his first ride after eight months of recovery.

The day is going to be a bit low key for both of us as neither of us have been on the track for a long time and we will have to get back into the flow.

Race series.

I will be competing at the Bike Rider Magazine Summer Series held by the Pacific Motorcycle Club this season.

There are five rounds planned for this year, three at Taupo and two at Manfeild. The dates have not been fully confirmed but the first round is at Taupo on the 13th November with a three hour endurance race set for the day before on the 12th November.

I am not planning to do the endurance race, but plan to do all five rounds of the club series. This is what I have been working towards with getting a new bike. It will also be a good work out for the bike and rider to see how we perform over a full season.

Well good things do happen!

Next season will be very interesting  for the team. For one, I don't know what will happening with Brendan, weather he will be returning to the track or not.

As you can see, I have a new bike for the next season, yes the mighty RSV4 Factory. I am just in the process of running it in and then at the first service a full Akrapovic race exhaust system will be added. After that it will be time to take it off the road and prepair it for racing. I hope to have it ready for about October if the funds allow.

I am very excited about getting this bike on the track, as it is so amazing to ride on the road I can only imagine how great is will be on the track. After all this bike was designed as a Superbike.

I will add more photos as I progress with the preperation.

As you can see by these photos the bike is all sorted and ready for the track.

Just some more weight reduction on the rider and all ready to go!

There will be an addition to the team, Brendan Holland will also be a full time member and we will be running under the banner of HBR (Holland Brothers Racing) but still at www.teamapriliaracing.com
